Established in 2019, ARC, an acronym for Accelerate, Redesign, and Collaborate, has since positioned itself as a major force in healthcare innovation, creating a highly successful methodology for hospitals and medical centers that has already been implemented worldwide. Leveraging Deloitte’s professional consulting experience, the new partnership aims to accelerate the adoption of ARC’s innovation model for the benefit of patients everywhere.
“Deloitte has been working for years to transform the industry into the Future of Health, a world in which digital medicine, personalized patient care, early engagement before disease, and health and wellness are integrated into daily life,” said Asif Dhar, Vice Chair as well as US Life Sciences and Health Care Leader at Deloitte. “Our research suggests that this model of health can yield more sustainable and equitable systems dramatically extending longevity and reducing health expenditure.”
In describing Sheba’s motivation for the collaboration, Prof. Eyal Zimlichman, Chief Transformation and Chief Innovation Officer as well as Founder and Director of ARC, explained: “We never imagined how many would approach us and say: Help us to set up a similar activity ourselves. The first project was in Ottawa, followed by London and Bahrain, and now New Jersey and Chicago, in addition to which we have signed an agreement in Melbourne. We held a bid among five leading global consulting firms, and Deloitte won.”
With Deloitte, Sheba is compiling an “operational manual” to implement ARC’s groundbreaking innovation model across the globe, fostering a new era of pioneering medicine that will help provide patients with better, safer care.
