Sheba’s Hand and Microsurgery Department Responds to the October 7th Tragedy

Amidst unparalleled challenges, Dr. Amir Arami showcased an unwavering commitment to patient care.

Dr. Amir Arami, the Director of the Hand Surgery and Microsurgery Department, and his team have treated over 62 patients and carried out more than 100 surgeries since the conflict began. The sheer volume of patients, together with the intricacy of their wounds, predominantly blast injuries to the outer limbs, has driven the entire team into relentless action, going above and beyond to address these exceptionally challenging injuries. Dr. Arami: “We’re fighting. We stand prepared to welcome and treat all injured victims from anywhere, anytime. We are ready.”
