From May 30 to June 5, the inaugural “Divas of Sheba” Women’s Mission to Israel provided 21 women from all over North America with a stimulating opportunity to explore and support Sheba Medical Center and the country.

It started quite simply in 2016, one day Aleksey find a lump on the right side of the neck. However, doctors suspected that something was wrong and sent him to a cervical lymph node biopsy. The diagnosis carcinoma shocked him. Trying to find out the way from this situation, Aleksey remembered that his friend had passed the successful treatment at Sheba clinic. That is why he decided to travel to Israel for medical treatment.

An advanced type of laser surgery for the removal of tumors in the urinary system is currently in use at Sheba Medical Center. This procedure allows tumors to be excised while sparing urinary organs, such as the kidneys and ureters. This allows patients to have a faster recovery and avoid complications like dialysis.
