Sheba’s Global Patient Services would like to take a moment to acknowledge Janna Yanovich. For 12 years, she has been going above and beyond and making a positive impact as our Medical Coordinator specializing in melanoma. Her love for people has made her ideal for the role, as she has expressed her dedication for helping patients get from point A to point B while battling their illness.
The special connection Janna has established with her patients has only increased in recent years, as a result of her very own cancer diagnosis. While many would likely take a leave of absence after such news, Janna’s commitment to the health of her patients has only intensified. For her, the patients aren’t just part of a job, but they are like an extended family. She has established a kind of understanding with her patients that is incredibly rare.
One of her patients described her by saying, “I want to say many warm words to my coordinator Janna Yanovich! I’ll tell you straight, Janna always does her work very carefully. I got the impression that we have been communicating for a long time and know each other well.”
The strength and compassion that Janna displays on a daily basis makes her nothing short of a miracle for any patient struggling with a serious illness. She is the living embodiment of what Sheba strives to be across every department in our medical center, and we couldn’t be more proud of her.
