Sheba Clinicians Top Forbes Ranking of Israeli Doctors

An incredible 50% of doctors from Sheba Medical Center were on the top Forbes ranking of the best Israeli doctors.
Sheba physicians were honored by Forbes magazine for their excellence, ranking high on Forbes Israel’s 2022 Best Doctors list.

According to the Top Forbes ranking of Israel’s 2022 Best Doctors list, over 200 of the country’s leading physicians are employed at Sheba. 1,428 physicians were named in this year’s ranking, with Sheba clinicians leading the way in cardiology, gynecology, oncology, genetics, internal medicine, psychiatry, rheumatology, and more. Overall, Sheba physicians held the lead in around 50 percent of specialties.

Forbes ranked physicians mainly based on peer reviews, meaning the physicians ranked each other, yet did not allow survey participants to rate colleagues in their own institution to avoid bias.

This latest achievement comes shortly after the Israeli Ministry of Health recognized Sheba as the nation’s best-performing hospital according to a quality of care report, in which Sheba led in all categories and received a score of 100% across 13 different metrics.

Earlier this year, Newsweek named Sheba one of the world’s top 10 hospitals for the 4th consecutive year. Qualifying its decision, the magazine mentioned Sheba’s cutting-edge medical technologies and, in particular, its telemedicine innovations.

Standing at the forefront of clinical research, innovation, and medical education, patients from more than 100 countries come to Sheba to receive clinical care that adheres to the highest international standards.
