Does multiple myeloma affect the eyes?

While direct invasion by multiple myeloma to the eyes is rare, several ocular complications can arise either from the disease or its treatment. Hypercalcemia, a condition commonly associated with myeloma, can lead to vision disturbances. Moreover, some chemotherapy drugs and steroids, often used in myeloma treatment, can cause cataracts or other eye issues.
