About
Dr. Sharon Borik, who has been Head of Sheba’s Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Institute since 2017, completed her medical studies at the Hebrew University & Hadassah School of Medicine in 2004, followed by a Pediatrics residency at Sheba Medical Center, and Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Interventional Cardiology Fellowships at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), affiliated with the University of Toronto. Extensively involved in the latest research, Dr. Borik’s current clinical interests include implementing and developing new interventions, optimization and standardization of outcomes in pediatric interventional cardiology, radiation reduction in the Cathlab, use of virtual reality imaging in planning complex intervention, and more.
