Doctors at Sheba Medical Center in Israel save Kurdish Iraqi Children

Sheba Medical Center in Israel save Kurdish Iraqi Children

Although many Kurds are sympathetic to the Jewish state of Israel, the notion of coming to an Israeli hospital for medical treatment is unheard of and generally frowned upon.

Fearing for her family’s medical safety, mother of one Kurdish child now treated at Sheba Medical Center says coming to the Israeli hospital was the right choice for her son’s necessary medical care.

Sheba’s Dr. Mishaly, who has treated hundreds of children during his tenure, many of them Kurdish, is one of many doctors in Israel who treat patients from all over the world, regardless of nationality.

Specializing in complicated medical cases, Sheba doctors provide swift, advanced, and ultimately beneficial medical care to patients that oftentimes arrive from war-torn states with poor medical infrastructures.
