Esophageal atresia
in this congenital defect, the esophagus does not correctly meet the stomach. Our surgeons use an advanced technique to pull the stomach up and restore proper food movement.
High imperforate anus
in this condition, the colon is too high in the pelvis, causing formation of a fistula. Our surgeons work with a minimally invasive laparoscopic approach for surgical reconstruction.

Dr. Daniel Shinhar
Dr. Daniel Sinhar is an the Acting Director of our new Pediatric Surgery Department at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital.
A highly experienced surgeon, he trained in pediatrics at Soroka Medical Center, and after completing his internship, he worked as a senior physician at the Dana Children’s Hospital at the Tel Aviv Medical Center.
