FAQ: Can I open a line of credit with Sheba for my treatment?

No. Sheba does not provide the option of opening a line of credit for treatment. The acceptable methods of payment are: cash, credit card, and bank transfer.

FAQ: Can I use my insurance policy to cover treatment at Sheba?

At Sheba Medical Center, the only treatment that can be covered by your insurance policy is Emergency Room (ER) treatment. In all other cases, you need to pay for your treatment.

FAQ: Does Sheba charge any payment fees?

In general, all payment fees are paid by the payer. For example, if you pay via bank transfer, you are responsible to pay for any bank charges and/or interest. Therefore, please take into account that the sum on your Sheba account balance will always reflect these charges (when applicable) and be lower as a result.

FAQ: When will I receive proof of payment?

If you prepay for your treatment, we will issue you a receipt upon your arrival at Sheba Medical Center. As soon as you pay all of your charges to Sheba, we will issue you a receipt for the total. Upon the conclusion of your treatment, we will provide you with an itemized invoice.

FAQ: Does Sheba provide me with treatment costs prior to my arrival in Israel?

Yes, you will see a list of necessary and optional treatment costs in your initial assessment, which will be sent to you by your medical case manager.
