FAQ: What to expect during immunotherapy treatment?

When you arrive at your immunotherapy treatment, your doctor will most likely go through the entire procedure with you to ensure you feel comfortable. Then they will administer the treatment, which can be done intravenously, directly into a muscle or under the skin.

The treatment session will last anywhere from 30 to 90 minutes, after which you’ll be free to go home until your next session.
