As neuroblastoma can appear in different body parts, there can be different early symptoms, most of which are also signs of some more common illnesses.

Some of the most common early symptoms of neuroblastoma include:

  • Sudden and unexplained weight loss
  • Problems with swallowing and/or breathing
  • A feeling of fullness that leads the child to refuse meals
  • A small pupil and a drooping eyelid (only in one eye)
  • Swelling that appears in the upper chest, face, legs and neck
