Can multiple myeloma cause spinal stenosis?

While multiple myeloma doesn’t directly cause spinal stenosis, it can lead to vertebral bone lesions or fractures, which might contribute to spinal canal narrowing (stenosis). This can compress the spinal cord or nerves, causing pain, numbness or weakness. Immediate medical attention and interventions like surgery or radiation might be required.
