Can multiple myeloma cause lung nodules?

Multiple myeloma doesn’t typically cause lung nodules. However, extramedullary plasmacytomas might, on rare occasions, form in the lungs. It’s more common for lung nodules to be related to infections, other malignancies, or benign causes. If lung nodules are identified, thorough evaluation is necessary to determine their origin.
