Can multiple myeloma be sexually transmitted?

Multiple myeloma is not sexually transmitted. It is a cancer of the plasma cells in the bone marrow and arises due to a combination of genetic and environmental factors. While the exact cause remains unknown, certain risk factors such as age, race and a history of monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance (MGUS) might increase the risk. Sexual activity does not influence the onset or progression of this disease.
