FAQ: Do I need to prepay or make a deposit prior to treatment?

In general, we do not require patients to put down a deposit or prepay for treatment.

However, there are some exceptions. Under the following circumstances, Sheba Medical Center does require advance payment:

• When the patient’s medical condition is unstable
• When the cost of treatment exceeds $30,000

If you need to make a deposit or advance payment, we will inform you about the precise sum in your initial assessment. Your medical case manager will also communicate this information to you.
