The department has 16 rooms, including spacious isolation rooms and an intensive care room for patients requiring close monitoring. In addition to the advanced equipment, the department has implemented state-of-the-art safety measures, including control and monitoring devices that have been placed throughout the department, enabling immediate and accessible monitoring by the medical staff.
Additionally, a playground and a kitchenette for the use of the families were set in the department, and comfortable armchairs were placed alongside the beds of the hospitalized children in order to improve the hospitalization conditions for patients and their families.

The department was designed to provide a solution to both the children and their families while maintaining a modern, safe and efficient working environment for the medical and paramedical staff. “

Dr. Daniel Sinhar, Acting Director of the Pediatric Surgery Department remarked: “Providing the best service is our main objective and the most important task for me as the head of the department. In addition to moving to the new location, we shall expand the team of healthcare professionals, as well as increase the number of surgeries and continue to maintain a high level of courteous and professional service.
