Kidney Cancer Treatment at Sheba Medical Center
Nowadays, kidney cancer can be diagnosed much earlier than in the past – thanks to advanced technologies, new laboratory tests, and precise imaging techniques. Sheba Medical Center in Israel offers the latest diagnostics and frontline therapies for kidney (renal) cancer. As a result, we can detect kidney cancer when it is at a very early stage, enabling us to administer a variety of effective treatment options.

Kidney-Sparing Laser Treatment
We currently offer a progressive, powerful type of laser surgery for the removal of urological tumors. As opposed to older techniques, this dual laser procedure spares urinary organs, preserves kidney tissue, and controls bleeding. The recovery time is much faster, the complication rate is lower, and life expectancies are longer. In addition, the need for repeat operations is substantially reduced. Currently, this minimally-invasive laser system is used in only a handful of medical centers around the world.
