Dr. Avigdor is the Director of the Institute of Hematology, Division of Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Sheba Medical Center. He is the founder and president of the Israeli Lymphoma Working Group, and the recipient of several honors and awards for his expertise in hematology.

Dr. Benjamini received his medical degree from Semmelweis University, Budapest,
Hungary, in 2002. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Meir
Medical Center in Israel, and did a Hematology fellowship in the Department of
Hematology and Bone Marrow Transplantation at Sheba Medical Center. In 2012, he participated in the leukemia fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston,
Texas. Since 2014, he has been dedicated to making novel effective cancer therapies accessible to patients around the world.
