Director of the Trauma and Urgent Surgery Unit at Sheba, Dr. Yoram Klein is an expert in multisystem trauma care, emergency surgery, as well as intra-abdominal and soft tissue infections.
His extensive experience includes a tenure as Director of the Trauma Unit at Kaplan Medical Center, as well as Founder and Director of its Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Department.
A leader in his field, Dr. Klein is actively involved in the latest research and is highly regarded by his peers. In addition to his role at Sheba, Dr. Klein serves as Chairman of the Israel Trauma Coalition, Chairman of the Israeli National Committee for the Accreditation of Trauma Centers, as well as Chairman of the Israeli National Committee for Surgical Emergency Equipment.
