Israel Dudkiewicz

Prof. Israel Dudkiewicz is the Chairman of the Rehabilitation Division at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Israel. He was born in 1962 in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Prof. Dudkiewicz received his MD from the Hadassah School of Medicine, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in 1987, and he was certified as a specialist in Orthopedic Surgery in 2002, made one year fellowship at the RONH (Royal Orthopaedic National hospital) London, UK between 2004-2005 and he was certified as a specialist in PM&R in 2006, at the Sheba Medical Center, Tel Hashomer, Israel.

Between the years 2007-2010 he stablished and managed the Diabetic Foot Service in Rabin Medical Center, Petah Tikva, Israel, and then re-established and managed the Department of Rehabilitation at Tel Aviv Sourasky Medical Center, Israel until 2018.

His major areas of clinical interest include rehabilitation of people with orthopedic conditions such as post trauma, diabetic foot, amputations, etc. He is highly interested in the use and development of new technologies mainly in prosthetics, orthotics and assisted technology. The results of his research have been published in peer-reviewed international medical journals or presented in international conferences. He was, and he still is, a consultant in rehabilitation projects in Russia, China, Cyprus, etc.

Prof. Dudkiewicz is an associate clinical professor at Tel Aviv University both in Orthopedic and PM&R.
