About
Dr. Bondi received his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, in Israel. He then specialized in rehabilitation and physical medicine in the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation at Sheba Medical Center, under the supervision of Prof. Gabi Zeilig.
Following his internship in Israel, he completed a dual specialization in spinal cord rehabilitation and pain rehabilitation at UHN – Toronto Rehabilitation Institute, in Canada. Upon his return, he served as a senior physician in the Department of Neurological Rehabilitation at Sheba, and Head of the Parkinson’s Day Rehabilitation Unit.
Additionally, Dr. Bondi established a new service in collaboration with Dr. Liana Tripto-Shkolnik of the Endocrinology Institute, for the prevention and treatment of osteoporosis among persons with physical disabilities in general, and with spinal cord injuries in particular. He has also authored numerous articles in international medical journals.
