Director of Sheba’s Endometriosis Treatment Center, Dr. Elad Berkowitz is one of Israel’s leading gynecologic surgeons, with extensive experience using advanced endoscopic techniques to treat diverse gynecologic conditions, with an emphasis on endometriosis.
Previously, Dr. Berkowitz served as Head of the Endometriosis Service at Maccabi Health Services HMO, Head of the Northern District Endometriosis Service at Clalit Health HMO, as well as Head of the Endoscopic Service and the Endometriosis Center at the Haemek Medical Center’s Gynecology and Neonatal Department.
A member of The Australian Gynecological and Surgery Endoscopy Association (AGES), the American Society for Gynecological Laparoscopy (AAGL), and the European Society for Reproduction and Embryology (Fetal Development) (ESHRE), Dr. Berkowitz was also included in Forbes magazine’s ranking of the best doctors in Israel for 2018, 2019, and 2020.
