About
Dr. Ron Bilik is a renowned specialist in general surgery, pediatric surgery, and the liver transplant in children. He has completed his Clinical/Research Fellowship at the Shock Trauma Center (MIEMSS), University of Maryland, USA and his Clinical / Research Fellowship in Liver Transplant Program and Pediatric Surgery at the the Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto, Canada.
Upon his return to Israel, Dr. Bilik became a member of the Pediatric Surgery Department at Sheba Medical Center and worked intensely to advance the field of perinatal surgery, congenital diaphragmatic hernia treatment and the reconstruction of esophagus in children.
He then has completed a several courses in laparoscopic pediatric surgery. Dr. Ron Bilik is a Senior Lecturer at the Sackler Medical School, Tel-Aviv University, he has published numerous papers and articles in the international scientific literature and has been voted twice to be an Exemplary Surgical Tutor at TAU. Dr. Bilik is responsible for clinical research in the field of pediatric surgery.
