About

Dr. Pessach completed his residency in Pediatrics at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital, Sheba Medical Center.

He then specialized in Immunology and Allergy at the Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, MA, USA.

Following his return to Israel, he specialized in Pediatric Intensive Care at the Edmond and Lily Safra Children’s Hospital, Sheba Medical Center.

He is a member of the Talpiot Medical Leadership Program for locating and developing new leadership in Israeli medicine.

Dr. Pessach is currently the Director of the Edmond and Lily safra children’s hospital and continues to work as a senior pediatric intensive care physician.

He is also the chairman of the Resuscitation Committee of the Sheba Medical Center.

He is a renown researcher and a consultant to start-up companies developing unique technologies in the field of intensive care.
