About
Prof. Eyal Sivan, director of the Josef Buchmann Gynecology and Maternity Center, is a graduate of the School of Medicine at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, began his career at the Sheba Gynecology and Maternity Center as a young intern almost 30 years ago. Prof. Sivan specialized in maternal and fetal medicine and high-risk pregnancy at the Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, USA. In his previous positions, he served as Deputy Director of the gynecology and Maternity Center and Director of the Obstetric Ward at Sheba (including the delivery rooms, the unit for high-risk pregnancy and the maternity ward).
Prof. Sivan also serves as an associate professor at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Sivan has published more than 120 articles and studies related to his field of expertise in leading medical journals.
The Josef Buchmann Gynecology and Maternity Center (Ob/Gyn) at the Sheba Medical Center has been Israel’s leading Ob/Gyn center of excellence for four decades.
